Bars: turn private-hire questions into clear enquiries

A bar’s website should help guests find the venue and ask the right question before the team makes a commitment.

Put practical details first

Publish verified opening hours, the address, contact actions and an introduction to the venue. Explain how to ask about private hire or an occasion. Only show accessibility, menus or facilities that the owner has confirmed.

Separate a request from a reservation

Ask for the adult organiser’s contact details and a short outline of the request. Guests can include their preferred date and approximate group size in the message. Explain that the team must respond before anything is confirmed; the form does not allocate tables or reserve capacity.

Give each enquiry a next action

Move a new enquiry to In progress while checking the venue diary. Use Awaiting customer when information is missing, then record the outcome. A note should say who will respond and what needs checking, without storing payment details.

Try the enquiry-first preset

Choose Bars in setup. BookBizzy selects the hospitality layout and enquiry capture, with appointment bookings off. Preview the page with fictional details before approving publication. Keep the existing bar website and link to the enquiry page if that is your preferred starting point.

Explore your own starting point

Keep your website or create a simple page. Use fictional details while testing the preview.
